PFMS provides a platform for complete tracking of funds up to the end beneficiary and enable just-in-time transfer of funds in respect of Central Sector (CS) and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs).

• Registration of Implementing Agencies (IAs) for CS & CSS
• Implementation of Expenditure, Advance, and Transfer (EAT), SNA module
• Resolving user raised issues
• New development and changes in PFMS
• Domain testing
• Coordination with State Directorates

The objective of Expenditure, Advance, and Transfer (EAT) module of Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is to help Program Implementing Agencies (PIAs) in filing of expenditure, transferring funds, advances, and its settlement. The process of feeding the day-to-day transactions as recorded in the cash book of the PIA on the PFMS portal is called expenditure filing.

The following activities need to be completed by the Program Division (PD) for implementation of EAT:
